What He/She Is Doing These Days: Back in Palm Springs to help mom for about a year - took time off the boats to assist her (she’ll be 88 on May 2), and then back to Maui. About His/Her Children: Great kids, all having the spirit to explore & travel. Words of Wisdom: Life is to enjoy – today – not tomorrow. Most Embarrassing Moment in High School: Getting stopped by Neil Green (cop) 4 times in one night while trying to get some action with 1 woman –P.S. It didn’t happen…oh well. Plus, getting kicked out of Mr. Wasson’s speech class for laughing at Erick Tetelbaum 4 times in one month. Also for getting removed from my Spanish class for laughing - who knows about what. I still laugh about those times even now. General Unloading: Received my captain’s license (100 ton) in San Diego doing fishing charters. Moved to Palm Beach, FL for a while & worked as a captain on a 50’ guided tour boat giving information to the guests regarding the rich & famous – Spielberg, Kennedy’s, Fords, Drew Barrymore, etc. – fun, but sometimes real boring. Lived on Singer Island, Florida (yes, the original Singer sewing machine people from NY); great beaches & water, only 52 miles east to the Bahamas. Brother Don Passed away, returned home (P.S.) to help mom. Moved to Laughlin, Nevada & drove boats on the Colorado River to stay close to her. My plans are to take my investments & work in Palm Springs for the next year, buy a condo for investment, and move back to Maui & sell frozen bananas with someone special. While in Maui, I lived with a good spirit & loving friends. Only in Hawaii does that spirit grab you, if you have the right heart – ask the Smiths; they know what the aloha spirit is all about. Mahalo my braduhs & seestah’s. |
