Class of 1964

Penny Hutchens
(Dees)

What He/She Is Doing These Days:
After a serious accident in 1990, I am unable to work.  Haven’t worked since.  Before my accident I was a waitress, cashier, did some construction work and some college.  Now I am at home trying to avoid housework, on the computer, and I take care of my animals – horses, dogs and cats.

About His/Her Children:
My son works in Los Angeles at Target and part time at Universal Studios.

Highlights of the Last 40 Years:
My son, grandchildren, & stepdaughter; those are my highlights.

Words of Wisdom:
I truly wish I had some.  I try & keep telling my son to keep his dreams in sight and not give up.

Most Embarrassing Moment in High School:
I think when I spit out my retainer in French class while trying to enunciate a French sentence.

The Way Things Ought to Be:
If things were the way they ought to be, people would be able to realize their dreams.  World peace…Oh wait - this isn’t a beauty pageant.
