What are you doing these days?
My constrution business is doing some spec houses in the San Fernando Valley in addition to our typical commercial constrution work.   We recently sold our house in Woodland Hills and moved to Thousand Oaks.  We travel a bit and my wife Madelyn plays golf 4 times a week.  I'm lucky to play once a week.    We're going to Tahoe later this month for skiing, meeting my brothers in Mazatlan in June, going to Maui in September, and having the family in for Christmas.

Tell us about your children.
My daughter Missie and her family live in Portland, Oregon.  My grandson Brandon is 9 and loves to ski.  We have him down for a week in the summer for an annual theme park tour.  My son Todd and his family (including 2 more grandsons) live in Austin, Texas.   We just saw them last Christmas in Portland.   My youngest son, Richard, is married and living near us.  So near, in fact that they are living with us for a short time to save up to buy a house.

Highlights of the past 40 years.
Let's see.  A year at UCR majoring in Chemistry; transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduated with a BS in Architectural Engineering.   Entered the Army right after college because ROTC kept me from getting drafted.   Spent a year in Vietnam as Asst Operations Officer for a Combat Engineering Battalion.  Returned to the "world" and started my career in structural engineering and architectural design.  Got licensed as a registered Civil Engineer, and then started in construction management work.  Started my own design and construction business in 1981 and still operate that firm.  Married Chrys Walters (PSHS) after one year of college...divorsed after nine years and 3 kids.   Remarried for 19 years and divorsed...no new kids.   Met and married my third and final wife 8 years ago.   Hooked up with Richard Kock from PSHS last year and we spent time on Maui together, along with getting together and playing golf with Kent & Polli.

Words of Wisdom to Impart?
I'm still seeing wisdom....but the most obvious is don't sweat the small stuff.   Enjoy your loved ones to the fullest every day.

Your funniest memory(s)while at PSHS.
Lots of fun times.  The funniest I shouldn't repeat...I'll get in trouble.

General Unloading Done Here.  Your choice of subject(s).
Palm Springs was a great place to grow up and I cherish the memories and friendships at PSHS.  It's too bad kids today don't have the opportunities we had to grow up without the drugs and fear in most high schools today.
