Stan Herod

What are you doing these days?
I teach Anthropology and coach men and women's soccer at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. I've run 2 full marathons and 1 half marathon in the last 4 years and I'm tired.

Tell us about your children.
We have four children. Andrew, single, 30 and graduates from graduate school this June with a Master's in Marriage and Family Counseling. Benjamin, 28, graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and will be marrying a Nashville girl on April 23 of this year. Caleb, 24, married to Danielle, graduated with Master's in math from Lee University and is teaching High School math in Murphy, NC. Leah, single, 23 graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a degree in Psychology. Currently living and working in Nashville.

Highlights of the past 40 years.
Linda and I were missionaries for 28 years in Latin American. We served in Guadalajara, Mexico, San Jose Costa Rica and 21 years in Guatemala City, Guatemala. We lived through all civil unrest during the 80s and 90s and have many stories about how God protected us and kept us from serious harm.
